That has been bugging the shit out of me since I first heard it!
I might write an entire blog post about this elsewhere, but I think it all comes down to the word "nuclear." Saying "nukular" in the hopes of coming off as folksy and unpretentious is cynical and is exactly why I hate most people, especially politicians. Saying "nukular" because you've never looked at the word closely, or because you're just a sloppy speaker, is prima fascia evidence that you're a fucking MORON and shouldn't be trusted with the keys to the car nevermind the codes to the nuclear football.
Sigh. Son, this is no way to get back at the world for that stuttering problem you had as a child. Let it go...

To those of you who say there are morons supporting Obama too, this is true.
The difference is, those morons are interested in something positive about Obama, and/or feel negative about the circumstances in the country (Iraq and the economy, chiefly) under Republican rule.
McCain supporters think Obama is a terrorist, a traitor, a muslim, an elitist, a scary black man, and a marxist. They even openly threaten to kill him at rallies. They believe shit like Obama will take away all their guns, paint the White House black, and put the crescent and star on the American flag.
Obama supporters don't want violence. They don't think the other side wants to destroy the country -- we just think they're doing it through their own ineptitude.
Our negative smears about McCain are that he wants war with Iran, Russia, Syria, Lybia, China, Venezuela, and maybe Spain -- and we want to end wars, not start more.
So pick your morons -- the ones who want peace, love, and weed, or the ones who want to lynch the n er.
I know which morons I'd rather be associated with.
