And actually, yes, it's hard for me to laugh at staged material, especially under the guise of being genuine. I laugh all the time at pratfalls in the gamut of comedies I watch or when it happens live before my eyes, but when a video pretends to be something it isn't, it loses all its charm, and is considerably unfunny to me.

What is fun for me is breaking down the video on what specifically tipped me off. It's a fun analysis. Apparently I'm not the only one (it's the most upvoted comment).

I think the issue here might be your intolerance for people who don't share your sense of humor.

To me it just seemed like it all got a bit serious, considering there is no way even a fake vid with this content (funny, silly, slapstick) should cause any controversy or have such vehement calling out. The tone of the fake cry was the issue here, not the calling it fake itself. But you know, yay for freedom of speech and all that!
